Overall rank: 40 out of 100

Ipsos I Say is one those few sites that allow you to spend your free time by sharing your opinion on various things or by completing online surveys and for all your efforts they reward you with points that you can convert to prizes, gifts or even cash.

Fortunately, Ipsos I Say is not one of those sites that take your time and then give nothing in return.
I’m saying this because there is a good number of so called survey sites that are not legit and in fact they will never pay you even a penny for your opinion.

That’s why, you must do some research before you decide whether you want to join a particular survey site or not. I did the research so you don’t need to do it again.

If you plan to join Ipsos I Say and want to know if Ipsos I Say is legit or not, I want to assure you that it’s legit.

But like most of the time, there are always some major cons when it comes to survey sites and though Ipsos I Say has been around for many years and is legit I still can’t confidently recommend it to everyone.

At least I want to let you know of all those cons so you decide what to do. Keep reading because I’m going to share some important info with you and I promise you won’t be on the fence about Ipsos I Say after reading my review

Cons of Is Ipsos I Say

  • Very limited opportunity

  • Complaints

Ipsos I Say Review

Ipsos I Say has been around since 1975 which means it’s not a fly-by-night company. You definitely can trust this website and get paid or rewarded for your opinion.

They have offices in over 80 countries, but it doesn’t mean you can participate in their surveys from any country.

Here is the list of countries allowed to participate in their program. Unfortunately, and it applies to almost all survey sites including Ipsos I Say, you can’t receive cash if you don’t have a PayPal account.

And even if you have one it doesn’t mean that you cash your earnings. Some countries have a limited access to Paypal. For example, the country I live in has access to Paypal and I even can make payments using my PayPal account.

When it comes to receiving cash via Paypal, I can’t because my country has limited access, i.e. our financial institutions are not connected to PayPal system.

That’s why, before you decide to join Ipsos I Say or any other survey site, do some research to find out if you can receive your payments via PayPal.

Ipsos I Say websites

This company is a little different from other survey sites. They have two different websites. One for Ipsos and one for I Say. The sites: and

Does joining Ipsos I Say cost you money?

Like with any other survey site, creating account with Ipsos I Say is completely free and there is no monthly fee. You are free to leave the websites with no obligations whatsoever.

How you benefit from Ipsos I Say site

Upon registration you will be offered a couple surveys and start earning your points. Normally, for each survey you complete, you can earn 45 points on average and for some surveys you can even earn over 100 points. Each 100 points are equal to $1.

Surveys are time consuming to be honest and most of the time it will take 15–20 minutes to complete a survey. I I think this can be extremely time consuming to spend so much time only to earn $1.

This means you have to complete 20–25 surveys to earn 2000 points and then convert your points to $20.

Considering that the number of surveys is limited and depends on demographics, it seriously reduces your chances to complete the required number of surveys in order to earn at least $20.

This is one of the major cons of Ipsos I Say or any other survey site. BTW, the minimum amount you can cash with Ipsos I Say is $15.

Also, you can redeem your Ipsos I Say points for some other things, such as gift cards or you can redeem your points and donate to charity organizations.

Also, Ipsos I Say allows you to take advantage of their loyalty program designed for their loyal members. This means if you stay with Ipsos I Say for some time you will be able to earn a bonus.

For example if you complete 100 surveys you will earn 300 points or 600 points for 200 surveys. Once you’ve earned your bonus points, your points for completing Ipsos I Say surveys will be calculated in a different way.

Instead of earning 45 points for a survey you will earn 70 points thanks to your accumulated bonus points.

Also, you can participate in their contests and win prizes, such as vacations, electronics or win sweepstakes.

Sometimes you may not qualify for the survey which means wasted time. This is one of the major cons of almost all survey sites.

The main problem with survey sites and especially with Ipsos I Say is that you are not going to receive a lot of invitations. On average you receive 1 or 2 invitations every week.

This means you can earn approx $1 or $2 every week. Is that much? Do you think it’s a viable way to earn a solid income online? I don’t think so and I believe so do you.

Ipsos I Say referral program

Like any other survey site Ipsos I Say has a referral program and allows you to earn some easy money by simply sending people to their site. But you can earn referral commission only if they create their account and participate in Ipsos I Say survey program.

Their referral program makes sense for you if you know how to send people to their site. It’s a combination of various techniques, such as SEO, social media, YouTube, paid traffic.

If you know how to use all these techniques you can scale up your earnings very fast. But it’s not easy, because I did it and the truth is that even if you send tons of people to a survey site only a small fraction of those people will take action.

Is Ipsos I Say different from other survey sites when it comes to complaints?

Unfortunately, it’s not different from other survey sites. Most of the time people have wrong expectations when joining survey sites and then complain of insignificant earnings.

That’s why before joining it’s always advisable to read their FAQs to see how much you can earn for your online efforts. If you are not agree to their terms don’t join then. As simple as that.

Survey sites are not something that can make you a full time income. This is something you must always keep in your mind.

Sometimes people lose access to their accounts and don’t get any explanation from Ipsos I Say. I know that some people violate their rules and this could be the reason.

Sometimes it happens without any violation. Below you can read some of the complaints just for your info. But I can’t give any final verdict on Ipsos I Say.

One thing you must remember that joining their site is free and you in fact don’t lose anything.

Also, some people complain that Ipsos I Say support team is not as supportive as it should be.

Sometimes people complain that some of their completed surveys have not been credited to their account.

Sometimes you are promised to earn let’s say 90 points for the survey and after competing it you get 45 points. I don’t know if Ipsos I Say does it intentionally or it’s just a technical problem.

I can’t add anything to these facts. I’m just trying to give you as more information as possible about Ipsos and decision is yours.

Anyway, if you read the comments above you will see that not everything is going perfect with Ipsos I Say.

Final word on Ipsos I Say

I think if you’re my loyal reader you already know my opinion about survey sites. Ipsos I Say is absolutely legit program.

If you’re happy with your current job, but if you are looking for a legit program that will allow you to make some extra money then you can join several legit survey sites, such as Ipsos I Say, Paidviewpoint, Ipoll, Opinionoutpost, Vipvoice, Surveysavvy, Acop etc.

But keep in mind that if you want to make at least $200-$300 per month you have to register with WAY more survey sites and spend a lot of time in order to complete the required number of surveys every month. Plus it’s extremely hard to manage multiple accounts.

Do you think it’s easy to manage let’s say 50 accounts? This is going to be VERY time consuming and the reward is not worth the effort.

To be honest, I don’t think it’s worth the effort and time because if you spend as much time for building your online business as you are planning to spend for surveys you can earn WAY more money than wasting your precious time for pennies survey sites pay you.

But this is just my humble opinion and it’s up to you to decide whether you want to join Ipsos I Say or not.

I wouldn’t because I value my time and in fact, I’m making WAY more money with my website and I’m not going to allow someone to waste my time in exchange for pennies.

    Howdy Rufat,

I was looking online for a survey site to start earning money online.

After I read this review it enticed me to join but I noticed that Wealthy Affiliate comparison table and it sparked my interest.

Can you elaborate a bit more about the company, I might decide to join here if you can confirm a few things.

    • Rufat says:

If you are looking for a program that make you a few bucks then Ipsos is the way to go. If you are looking for something more serious that can replace your regular job over time then Wealthy Affiliate is definitely one of the best programs out there. It will take some time and effort, but it’s well worth the time and effort. I honestly recommend it.

Hey. I can say that I actually have some experience with survey sites. I found the ones that send you stuff for you to take survey to be the most profitable, you however will never earn a full time income at the. If you were in the US you most of the time would be better off getting a minimum wage job, as most survey sites pay about 1-3 dollars and hour. Do you find this the case with IPSOS?

    • Rufat says:

It’s good that you have some experience with survey sites. Of course, you will never earn a full-time income by completing surveys. Ipsos I say is not much different from other websites. They send surveys every now and then which doesn’t allow you to make the amount of money you want. The only way is to create an account with many other survey sites in order to make maybe $100 or $200 per month. But it will take a lot of effort and time to earn even this limited amount of money.
